Internships
Want to really be a part
of the clique? Apply to be an ESC Forever Media Intern!
We are always looking for
enthusiastic, hardworking, creative, open minded interns. Internships are unpaid
but can be done for school credit, industry experience and referral.
Some of the internship responsibilities may include:
- Composing and sending emails
- Updating social networking profiles (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
- Online research
-Writing, Copyediting
Internship candidates must be:
- Organized
- Self-motivated
- Creative
- Willing to learn
- Able to take direction
- Easily reachable. (We would prefer if you are able to check in on a daily
basis. You will not necessarily have daily tasks, but being easy to reach and
communicative is key.)
Knowledge/interest in feminist issues, gay rights, sex, pop culture a plus! You
must be at least 18 to apply for this position (21+ is preferred, but not
required).
Experience in any of the following: Blogger, Wordpress, Facebook, Twitter (and
other social networking/media) - also a plus!
Internship will primarily be a telecommuting position, however interns in the
New York City area may also have opportunities to attend events, etc.
In your email, please tell us a little about yourself (a formal resume is not
required, but if you have an impressive one we'll take a look), some of your pet
"causes", and why you would like to write for our blog. Selected applicants will
later be asked for a writing sample and a Facebook or Myspace page if you have
